The Missing Leadership Piece by Lynn Kishaba

The state of the world today requires those who have the God-given gift of leadership to arise, learn how to function God’s way, and build His Kingdom with His designated apostolic leaders. And those with the Gift of Administration listed in I Corinthians 12:28 and Romans 12:8 are essential to assist God’s leaders.

Countless volumes explain the spiritual gifts from God and how they function – except for the Gift of Administration. So little is written about it that most people think it’s insignificant, an afterthought of God. Not so. Sadly, the value of this gift is not understood by most people and overlooked when needed the most!

Nations, businesses, ministries, or any organization is built and run by someone or some group administrating it. Without administration, especially Godly administration  – a business or nation can fall.

The word administration is described as “the activities that are related to operating an organization, or the collection of individuals who run an organization …  or those in leadership positions who complete important tasks” (Merriam-Webster Dictionary).

But there is a significant difference between administrators trained for the job and God-gifted administrators. Those who possess God’s gift and work directly by the authority of the top organizational leaders (apostolic leaders) are Apostolic Administrators. These anointed people function with God’s gift of leadership.

Three different Bible versions or translations reveal the Gift of Administration in I Corinthians 12:28:

1.       New Living Translation, “those who have the gift of leadership…”

2.       New King James Version, “And God has appointed these in the church: first apostles, second prophets, … administrations.

3. King James Version,  ‘governments, presidents or he that ruleth.’

According to Strong’s Concordance and Vine’s Expository Dictionary, the New Testament word, administrations is translated from the Greek word, ‘kybernēsis,’ meaning: governing, government, to steer, pilotage, directorship, helmsman, and shipmaster (Acts 17:11, Rev. 18:17 KJV).

I explain the vital role of shipmasters, governing, and the essential leadership characteristics in my book Apostolic Administration for Such a Time as This – Who’s Minding the Store? Who these people are in the Bible and how they function is essential to comprehend the call and position of today’s needed Apostolic Administrator.

This may be the Missing Piece you need – to succeed!
