When Does the Decline of Society Begin?

“If my people, who are called by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, forgive their sin, and heal their land.” (2 Chronicles 7:14)

When Does the Decline of Society Begin?

When fools are louder than the wise,

when the lazy have more than the hardworking,

when people without scruples are respected more than the honest.

When morality is taught by those who themselves do not possess it,

when people who have no children are valued more highly than those who already have children.

When perpetrators are better protected than victims,

when madness is presented as “normality,”

and politicians do not live for the nation, but off the nation.

Society declines day by day.

First, it stops distinguishing good from evil.

Then it rejects values, decency, and security.

And when it stops doing so — decline becomes only a matter of time.

But there is hope — when we begin to pray on behalf of our fellow countrymen, seek the face of the Father, and turn from our wicked ways, then He — God — will hear from heaven, forgive the sins of the nation, and heal our land.

This is where we must begin, but we cannot end there.

As Christians:

We must speak louder, both through our actions and our words, than a lost world.

We must cooperate with the grace of God so that we may once again have more — not only for ourselves, but also for those who have nothing.

We must consistently remain completely honest until the world once again sees the beauty of integrity.

We must courageously and faithfully educate and raise up a Christian leadership among children and young people.

We must once again recognize the value of the family and not be ashamed to have more and more children.

We must exercise our rightful responsibility to shape and improve the laws of our country according to God’s righteous standards.

We must show love to those who have fallen into the trap of abnormal practices.

Finally, we must send forth holy, uncompromising, dedicated, competent servants of the nation who cannot be corrupted and who know the Lord Jesus.
