As apostolic leaders, we should all be aware of the great increase of persecution of Christians in the far east and throughout the world. There is increasing prejudice and bigotry against Christians in many nations, including so-called democratic nations. It’s coming in the form of legislation by political leaders restricting what we preach, laws about funding, property rights of churches, and much more.
This is definitely a wake-up call to all of us!
One of the main purposes of ICAL in helping to promote the establishment of autonomous apostolic coalitions in every nation so that apostolic leaders in the nation can join together to pray, discuss, and ask the hard questions such as; ‘what can we do as leaders concerning this persecution of Christians that manifests itself in many forms.’
This persecution is a battle against evil powers and principalities of this world. We must mobilize our intercessors for spiritual warfare and raise up generations of governmental and marketplace leaders who would be ambassadors of Christ in the vital spheres of influence.
The church must have a cause in order to have an effect. It must mobilize people to vote for people who are more biblically sound in their views and those whom support righteousness.
As Dietrich Bonhoeffer said, “Silence in the face of evil is itself evil: God will not hold us guiltless. Not to speak is to speak. Not to act is to act.”
Read this article, pray and ask ‘what can I do, and what can we do together to come against the diabolical plans of Satan’!
See you on the battlefield,
