During the 2018 ICAL Congress, Roger Leyton shared about his extensive mission work to nations in Central America. Roger and his wife Yolanda lead Maranatha Christian Missions and have served in Nicaragua Central America for over 30 years. The government allowed Roger to preach the gospel in schools throughout the nation where he lead over 700,000 children and teens to salvation. He has trained thousands of leaders and thousands to faith in Jesus Christ. He is a spiritual father and mentor to countless local pastors.
Here is a recent update from him:
“We are in Costa Rica since January 1 organizing and planning to train the nation with the main leaders of Nicaragua in Costa Rica.
Most of the leaders are young people and professionals. On January 7, we had our first seminary with 100 attendants and for 3 days as my team and I taught about Inner Healing and Ecclesia.
We feed the people during the seminary, and in the next weeks we will be helping to feed 800 families. This will cost about $30,400 (every package of food cost $38 dollars).
The situation in Nicaragua is terrible and more people have to leave the country.
We attached you photos and please pray for us. The need is great and we need more resources”.
Love you, Roger
During the 2018 ICAL Congress, a nations offering was taken for Roger’s work and other nations. In November, John Kelly presented Roger with a substantial check to help his work in the nations.
The need continues to be great, so please pray about contributing and contact ICAL to help contact Roger.
